Actor, Writer, Director, and Producer Tina Alexis Allen has learned some profound lessons about self-discovery, honesty, and healing in her incredible journey to who she is today. We spend time talking about living secret lives, coming to terms with our childhood wounds, taking responsibility for our healing, and about the necessary and painful reality of #MeToo for women and men in the entertainment industry.

Tina’s coming of age memoir, HIDING OUT, published by HarperCollins is currently being developed for the screen. 

Tina has been celebrated as a writer for stage and screen and for her diverse range of acting roles in theatre, film and television. As a break out star on WGN's record-breaking series, OUTSIDERS, Tina plays Shurn, a fiery member of the Farrell clan alongside David Morse and Ryan Hurst. (on Hulu) Currently, Tina can be seen in the Lifetime Movie, 12 Desperate Hours, directed by Gina Gershon.

Tina wrote and performed her second critically praised solo show, SECRETS OF A HOLY FATHER, Off Broadway, playing her father, and is currently producing a short film "The Men's Room," for which she engaged an MKP Brother to help hone details of how men can mentor and be allies to one another.
