During the 1950s the Antarctic Treaty took force basically suggesting that the continent be used for scientific research . Nuclear testing or military use is prohibited . Could there be another reason to keep there hands off of Antarctica by countries that may have Geopolitical issues with each other . What discoveries were going how much cover up had there been ?
