a.       2000kcal 56g of protein, Jevity 1.5 @ 75ml/hr

b.       Determine the fluid needs:

                                                               i.      2000kcalx1ml/kcal=2000ml

c.       Determine free water from formula:

                                                               i.      75x24=1800ml

                                                             ii.      1800x.76=1368ml 

d.       Determine the remaining fluid needs

                                                               i.      2000-1364=632ml
