Jason Latona, VA Chief For Specialty Adaptive Housing shares, many of our wounded veterans come home to what, for most of us is normal, but to them is a hostile atmosphere. A kitchen counter on which they have prepared food over the years is now too high. Getting into a bathtub without help is impossible and shelves are now out of reach. This is just the start of the barriers that they can find that are getting in the way of a normal life.
