The end of Pride Month!

I’m not sure if anyone else is as happy as I am to see the END of LGBTQ Pride month! I saw a news clip of a Seattle Pride Parade and there was an exhibit that encourages children to throw foam bricks at pictures of Republicans. You know that’s a great way to teach acceptance and inclusion. Biologists tell us that trans people represent about .6% of the population – less than 1 out of 100. But what power they’ve shown by being united, and what cowardice we’ve shown to allow them to dictate the way we’re going to think and act. And we have absurdity such as the children’s book “The baby and Daddy’s tummy, the miracle of male birth.” Of course it’s a female who calls herself a male gives birth. But somehow a miracle? Yes, people are allowed to be insane - but must we be insane with them?
