The Fuqboy Chad Approach.
You spend time list building, but you only reach out to your subscribers when you want a sale. That's it. No value, only the hard sell. And it’s the equivalent of a ‘You up?’ text at 11pm.
The result of this is a cold list which fuqs deliverability for your whole list and a bunch of subscribers who can’t remember why they opted in and don’t trust you.
If you’re guilty of being said fuqboy, here’s what people tell you to do — email your subscribers like nothing happened and don’t admit fault. Send a value-packed email, then sell.
But it goes so much deeper than that. And the most major part is that this wouldn’t happen if you had a solid plan in the first place and could see how email worked for you and your business.
