Clarinetist Jason Marquez recently graduated from Andrews University in Michigan, and is all set for a master’s degree in Texas. In the meantime, he is home, and will bring a selection of 20th century works in Walking Tall, happening this evening as part of the Manila Pianos Artist Series. We meet Marquez on MAESTRO FILIPINO, where he shares his experiences at Andrews, alongside studio recordings of Bach, Bela Kovacs, and Kaija Saariaho. DZFE’s Daniel is the host.
