We have made it to the Battle Of Gettysburg! Taking place on July 1st-3rd, it is the largest loss of life of any battle of the war. The loss by the Confederates halted Robert E. Lee's second attempt at an invasion of the North and he would never attempt another one. The Union victory, along with Vicksburg a day later, is often cited as the turning point of the war.
