Etsy Must Give Out Your Personal Info - New Law

Published 2 years, 10 months ago
Description

In this new episode of Etsy Seller News, I talk about the inform consumers act that goes into effect on June 27th.  This new law requires marketplaces to disclose information about sellers such as name and address.  The point of the law is to make buying online more transparent and safe.  However, sellers do worry about people getting and abusing their personal information.  Don't worry I break down the specifics of this law and precisely who will be impacted.

Also, the Etsy Design Award finalists have been announced and you can vote on the people's choice winner!  Don't be a poor sport!  Go vote.  The link is in your seller dashboard.  It's also cool to see what products and sellers made it to the finals.  We can all learn something from them I'm sure.
