More of the Juneteenth celebration as this time John speaks with Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis about his fight to help people of color in Louisiana's Cancer Alley which is the country's de facto headquarters for the petrochemical industry. Then he interviews author, lecturer, and historian Lawrence Ross. They discuss the similarities of today's GOP to the National Party in South Africa during apartheid. Other topics include the GOP attacking marginalized groups, killing AP African American studies, and squashing diversity, equity and inclusion.
