Elders are overseers and shepherds of the church of God which he purchased with his own blood. What are elders to do? I. Love the flock of God intentionally, vv18-19, 36-38. II. Feed the flock without fear or favor, vv20-27. III. Protect the flock from all enemies of the gospel, vv28-32. IV. Lead the flock especially by example, vv33-35.
