Common Ground: Connecting The Country Through High-Speed Internet

Published 2 years, 11 months ago
Description

The ReConnecting Rural America Act seeks to bring high-speed broadband internet access to underserved communities throughout the nation. Senator Peter Welch (D-VT) and Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) discuss their proposed legislation, and how it would impact the communities in their home states, as well as other states that have long been without access to high-speed internet.

Later, they talk about how the bill would be implemented, why it's important for farmers across the United States to have access to the internet, and how this bill would upgrade healthcare throughout the country.
