Chris is a lighthouse in the community, an English speaking man in Thailand, the home of some of the most insane Mitsubishi builds on the planet is a huge asset to our community, at least for those of us that don’t speak Thai. Chris isn’t just a part of the Mitsubishi community he is a crucial teammate to those going fast in their Mitsubishi powered car. Chris starts off by telling us how and why he made his way from Scotland to Thailand. He talks about his history of racing in the UK and why that passion was too big to leave behind when he made his way to Thailand. He talks about what drew him to the Evo platform and why the Evo is so perfect as it is popular in Thailand. He talks about what Mitsubishis he sees at the track in Thailand and why the import laws in Thailand limit the ones that make it into the country. Chris talks about the five or so Mitsubsihis that Chris attends the drag strip with regularly and who either lends a hand on his car or he lends a hand with theirs. He talks about the parts availability in Thailand and why he is making the best out of what he can get. Chris talks about the racing facilities that he and his friends compete at. The surface and track prep leaves something to be desired yet they still work at cutting sub 1.5 60 ft times. Chris talks about the Mitsubishi Thailand Community’s goals for this year and next. He talks about a record that they are aiming to break in the near future. Finally Chris drops his social media and gives thanks to his team and all those who have helped him along the way.
