❌ CoinDesk has reported that Millions worth of tether (USDT) stablecoins appeared to be selling off on popular Uniswap and Curve pools earlier morning, sparking early signs of concern among traders. USDT balances on Curve’s popular 3pool, a stablecoin swapping pool made up of USDT, USDC, and DAI, rose to over 72% early on Thursday — suggesting traders had exchanged tens of millions of USDT in favour of stablecoins USD coin (USDC) and dai (DAI). 🔴 Apple has rejected the latest version of the non-custodial Lightning-enabled Bitcoin wallet Zeus, according to a tweet by Zeus founder Evan Kaloudis. his tweet here https://lnkd.in/dT54GWUK

🔴 Many legal experts agree that non-custodial wallets like Zeus that don’t take custody of funds or private keys should not be classified as money transmitters, a classification typically reserved for custodial wallets like those offered by Coinbase and Binance that do assume custody of customer funds.

🔴 This comes after news that Apple may remove damus.io from the app store on the grounds that zaps within the app do not go through the in-app purchase mechanism. Apple claims that Damus violates its guidelines by allowing users to send “tips” (zaps) associated with receiving content from digital content creators through a mechanism other than in-app purchases.
