There is definitely some thinking involved during starting a podcast. In a lot of ways, getting the equipment is the easy part. Most of us have a phone that we can record content with and actually can serve as the one of the things needed to get started. But, there are a few more things that requires thinking and writing. What will be the name of you podcast? What will the subject be? This is the place that many people get stuck on.

One easy way to center in one what to talk about is to pay very close attention to the common thread that's already present in your life. What is that common thread. Sometimes we want to talk about things we know nothing about. Many we haven't studied enough. Getting started is probably the most important part though.

Equipment can be slowly added to further enhance the visual of podcast. But don't think that you are ready all because you have equipment.
