Episode Details

These next two episodes have the difficult task of following up on two of the best episodes in the series, but the Crossing starts out strong with some of the best character development we have seen within the Bad Batch yet. Unfortunately what could have been an interesting "bottle" episode gets mired down in an unneeded linkage to a secondary story about a group of youthful miners/prisoners ruled over by a terrible leader, and the conclusion of the two-parter struggles to mimic a fraction of the power that the Andor Narkina-5 arc had. In the end, it feels like the first episode would have benefitted from being a standalone, and the second episode needed a more compelling reason to believe there was actually a possibility the workers wouldn't overthrow the ruler.
