Heaven Calls Them Blessed Blessed are The Meek (They shall inherit the Earth Part 7: The Meek give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar)
Description
Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mark 12:14-17
And when they were come, they say to him, Master, we know that you are true, and care for no man: for you regard not the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? 15Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, Why tempt you me? bring me a penny, that I may see it. 16And they brought it. And he said to them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said to him, Caesar's. 17And Jesus answering said to them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marveled at him.
THE MEEK GIVE TO CAESAR THE THINGS THAT BELONG TO CAESAR. HOWEVER BOTH RULERS AND SUBJECTS HAVE MUTUAL OBLIGATIONS TO EACH OTHER AND GOD WILL CALL BOTH TO ACCOUNT THE GREATER THE RESPONSIBILITY THE GREATER THE ACCOUNTABILITY
Luke 12:48 NKJV
“… For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.”
James 3:1
My brothers, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
Hebrews 13:17
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Romans 13:1-7
Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2Whoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Will you then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and you shall have praise of the same: 4For he is the minister of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath on him that does evil. 5Why you must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6For for this cause pay you tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually on this very thing. 7Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.
DO NOT EVADE TAX AND CUSTOMSGIVE TO CAESAR WHAT BELONGS TO CAESAR
1 Peter 2:13-17
Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14Or to governors, as to them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15For so is the will of God, that with well doing you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 17Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
WE ARE TO FEAR GOD FIRST AND THEN HONOR THE KING! ONLY GOD’S AUTHORITY SUPERSEDES HUMAN GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY. KINGS HAVE ONLY DELEGATED AUTHORITY, POWER BELONGS TO GOD!
Daniel 4:37
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
Revelation 19:16
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Acts 5:29
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
