NEVER NEGLECT THE WORD OF GOD  TO ABANDON THE BIBLE IS TO ABANDON THE TRUTH 

John 17:17

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Isaiah 40:6-8

1 Timothy 4:1-2

TO DEPART FROM THE WORD OF GOD IS TO DEPART FROM THE FAITH! NO  BIBLE, NO  FAITH, NO   HOPE

Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 

Ephesians 6:15-17

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

THE BIBLE WILL CONTINUE TO GUIDE THE PEOPLE OF GOD UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD

CHECK OUT WHAT YOUR CHURCH LEADERS SAY WITH WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS 

Satan is constantly endeavoring to attract attention to man in the place of God. He leads the people to look to bishops, to pastors, to professors of theology, as their guides, instead of searching the Scriptures to learn their duty for themselves. Then, by controlling the minds of these leaders, he can influence the multitudes according to his will. – {Great Controversy p. 595.2}

Acts 17:11 

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
