This docuseries currently streaming on Amazon Prime explores the controversial Duggar Family, who starred in TLC's reality show 19 Kids and Counting. Not only does the movie address the family's behaviors, including olderst son Josh Duggar's history of child sexual abuse, but it also dives into Bill Gothard and the cult-like practices of his church, The Institute in Basic Life Principle (IBLP). TLC sanitized the Duggar's dedication to the fringe teachings of Bill Gothard. Exploitation of children, both sexual and otherwise, is endemic in Gothard's organization and teachings.
