In today’s episode Few introduces and interviews u/BurningLila, (one of) his girlfriend(s) and test subject, who has completely consensually decided to allow all of us deeper into her inner world. BurningLila provides the experiences and meat for the barbecue while Few editorializes and grills it, and occasionally prevents BurningLila from having some creative license with truth. The conversation topics range from the serious and significant to silly and senseless, with some examples of each being; what does a disordered person feel that drives them to pursue a person/relationship? What is the world like from the perspective of an unaware disordered person and what does the path to self-awareness look like? What does a disordered person think of therapy and how do they act whilst in it? What is functional sadism, when can one be said to have a sadism ‘problem’, and how do societies do us a disservice in casting aggressive impulses and urges in moral terms?
