As Christians, with a biblical worldview, it’s important to remember that our “purpose” never changes! Our roles and responsibilities may change, but our purpose NEVER changes!
And what is our purpose? (Matthew 22:37-39) Love God and Love others as we would want to be loved.
Matthew 24:45-48 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant that the Master has set over the house? Blessed is the servant that the Master finds doing what He is supposed to do when He returns. Truly that servant will be rewarded. But if that servant says; My Master is delayed, therefore I will mistreat others and live a sinful life, when the Master returns unexpectantly, He will cut them into pieces and put them with the hypocrites in that place of weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Things to glean from this parable:
- This is serious business!
- He, Jesus, IS coming back!
- Be prepared!
