What type of "song" are we composing with our own lives? How have we honored the lives of those whose singing here on earth has been transformed into the song of God? How have we helped those who are mourning the loss of their metaphorical singing partners? This past Sunday we celebrated all Saints Day and it makes us reflect on our one life while reminding us that over the last 6 months we haven’t been able to property attend wakes and funerals and celebrate the lives of the loved ones we’ve lost. It is very challenging to have to mourn from a distance. In today’s episode, Father Ed Foley reminds us that we need to comfort one another with assurances of faith and he encourages us to do the grief work that helps us have hope.
