Nature is a great teacher. And in this past Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus points to the example of the vine and branches. He reminds us that a branch must remain on the vine in order to grow fruit and that branches must be trimmed to grow even more fruit. Today, Father Ed Foley does a great job explaining how important pruning is in our own lives and in our communities so that our world can bear the fruits of love, hope, and justice.
