This episode, Heddwen Brooks, PhD, the new chair of Tulane's Department of Physiology, describes her and her department's studies on sex-differences in health, and more specifically, women's health in aging. She discusses the history of data pooling between males and females, and the different ways that diseases can affect the sexes differently, even COVID-19.
