And despite a spying scandal, rising inflation and a tragic train crash that killed 57 people, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ center-right party tapped into underlying optimism, especially among young voters, to win a convincing victory on Sunday. He joins Christiane for his first interview after his party’s election win.
