Christine on her practice: "I have been trained and worked as a clinical psychotherapist for nearly 18 years and was a professor of clinical psychology in a master’s degree program for 5 years. Due to requirements that the state of California has imposed on mental health professionals to engage in social justice activist therapy, I have chosen to offer coaching services instead at this time. While I am a California licensed psychotherapist, my coaching and wellness services are not under the umbrella of “psychotherapy” and therefore, my practice in a coaching capacity will be therapeutic, but NOT psychotherapy."
