Eric Bolinder & Limiting The Power Of Federal Agencies

Published 2 years, 11 months ago
Description

Today, Ben is joined by Cause of Action attorney, Eric Bolinder, in a case on behalf of New Jersey fishermen who challenge the federal government's attempt to unlawfully force them to pay monitoring fees without congressional approval. The case would challenge the 'Chevron' precedent and could significantly change federal agencies' power scope. Breaking down a complex case in a digestible fashion, Ben and Eric explain why normally, federal bureaucrats have a significant advantage in court against average citizens and small businesses, but this case could change that.

Later, Ben explains what he believes the impact will be of Senator Tim Scott's entrance into the 2024 presidential race.
