Vaginal Health and Your Fertility with guest Hana Janebdar

Season 10 Episode 898 Published 2 years, 10 months ago
Description
Hana Janebdar is the co-founder and CEO of Juno Bio, a women’s health company working to decode the vaginal microbiome. She is joining us today from London.

Hana received a BSc in Biology from Imperial College London and an MSc in Biochemical Engineering. When she was researching microbiomes, she discovered that there was an opportunity to close the gender health gap and advance vaginal microbiome research. Her company, Juno Bio recently launched its Vaginal Microbiome Test, the first at-home comprehensive screen that allows women to receive insight into her full vaginal microbiome profile and what it means for their wellness.

In this interview, we are discussing the role the vaginal microbiome (VM) plays in overall health and fertility, what fertility patients and doctors need to know about the VM, and how to test your VM.
