My guest today is Sasha Ayad, she is a licensed professional councillor who works in private practice and has treated adolescents for over 10 years. Her work focuses on teens and young adults who struggle with issues of gender dysphoria and gender identity. We spoke about Sasha’s early encounters of children going through gender distress; why some medical practitioners have been so quick to diagnose children with gender dysphoria and what parents can do to support their children.
