In our Season 4 finale, we chat with G. Don Taylor Jr., Ph.D., P.E., executive vice provost and Charles O. Gordon Professor in ISE at Virginia Tech. He’s also the 2023 recipient of the Frank and Lillian Gilbreth Industrial Engineering Award from IISE. Taylor discusses his career path, the possibilities for AI in industry and academia, his love for hiking, and why he enjoys going to the IISE Annual Conference & Expo: “You’re going to make your best friends there.” We also hear some thoughts and reflections from other longtime members of IISE as we celebrate the Institute’s 75th anniversary.
