This week, Rob from AK Operators Union join Nathan and guest host Reaper1.1 for a fantastic talk on all things long range, Kalashnikov and more! Rob shares growing up behind the Iron Curtain, the fall of the USSR, why all of the misery of those governments was absolutely ‘Real Communism and Socialism’ at work and his journey to the US and joining the US Army. Rob expands on his time in the army as an infantryman and then sniper, how nothing is handed to you in the military, the repetition of history where militaries fail over and over to maintain their knowledge and skills of utilizing snipers between conflicts and Rob gives the mother of all history lessons on the evolution of rifles utilized by snipers from the First World War through to the modern day. The lads also get into fanboyism over gun manufacturers, what makes a good AK, how Rob has improved the science behind his torture testing of firearms, why citizens should be practicing sniper and DMR roles to Fry Brains as well as bushcraft, the reality of irregular forces supply lines and plenty more!
