Even in fourth grade, Barb knew they had to get out. They had seen David Bowie in drag on SNL and realized there was something better out there, something that felt right. Sometimes the binary – whether that be for gender, sex, or position in bed – just doesn’t honor everything we are. So we go punk rock and say f*ck it.
In this episode, we’re talking to musician, Billboard Platinum music producer, author, and overall icon Barb Morrison. We're renegotiating what gender, sex, and everything in between means to us, and how that drives what we ask for–and who we become–in our relationships. Here’s some insight Barb gives us throughout the episode:
- Gender is who you want to be, sexuality is who you want to f*ck
- What it’s like knowing who you are but not having the words to describe it (yet)

- Sex evolves in a partnership, and it can be seen as connection and communication just as much as a tool for pleasure
