Supernatural Season 3, Episode 1, The Magnificent Seven recap 😈 The Seven Deadly Sins are loose, a mysterious blonde with a very fancy knife has Sam's back, and Dean has one year left to live on Denim-wrapped Nightmares, a Supernatural rewatch podcast.

First, a full season two recap, because we needed it too. Then it's on to the season three premiere, named after the 1960 Western classic with Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen. Since the Devil's Gate opened, demons have been spotted in 17 cities, and Bobby calls the boys in on a case where everyone's acting on their worst impulses. They team up with married hunters Isaac and Tamara, and soon they realize they're up against the Seven Deadly Sins themselves.

In the lore segment, we dig into the classification of demons, from the earliest known list, the Lantern of Light (1409–1410), to Peter Binsfeld's 1589 list matching demons to the Seven Deadly Sins, the one Bobby references: Lucifer (pride), Mammon (greed), Asmodeus (lust), Leviathan (envy), Beelzebub (gluttony), Satan (wrath), and Belphegor (sloth).
