The "Godfather of AI" quit his job at Google so he could speak about the dangers of artificial intelligence.
Geoffrey Hinton, started looking at artificial intelligence more than 40 years ago, but now today, he's worried about the effects.
I think every new piece of technology is a cause for concern but as always we will adapt. I will admit that AI is probably the biggest technological advancement ever and if not the biggest, it is in the top 5. Thus it will require a huge amount of attention, precautions and preventative laws but I don't think AI will harm us and destroy the world.
