Socializing a young puppy is probably the most important thing you can do. In 2020, I have seen a lot of Pandemic Puppies which were not properly socialized sue to COVID-19, and improper socialization during the puppies critical period of around 4-12 weeks old can result  in a dog with lifelong fear and anxiety around new people and other dogs.

Here are the 6 ideas that I talk about in this podcast.  These can also be utilized for puppies and dogs of any age.

• Take puppy for walks outside around people 
• Take puppy for rides in car through drive through 
• Take puppy for field trips to pet store
• Take puppy for field trips Home Depot or Lowe’s is visit 
• Bring puppy to friends house
• Have friends come visit your house
