Game 1 if the Eastern Conference Semi Finals took place in Madison Square Garden and the Knicks looked to take advantage of home court and get an early lead on the Heat. The game opened up with the Knicks clicking on all cylinders going up as much double digits in the first quarter. It looked like the Knicks could run away with the game as both RJ Barrett and Jalen Brunson turned up their intensity to open the game. Of course the game could not be decided without Jimmy Butler having a say on it. After the first half the Knicks were only up by 5, and the Heat came back with adjustments made. It seemed like it was a struggle for the Knicks to score in the paint and get any offensive boards as the Heat crashed the glass as a team and built a wall around the paint. The game ended with the Heat beating the Knicks 101-108.
