Why do we read the Bible?

1- It is how God has revealed Himself to us? 

• Learn His character. 
• Learn His plan.
• Shows me His will.

2- The Bible contains accounts of God interacting with people? 

• We see how God moves among His people. 
• Learn how to trust Him. 

3- It is how God primarily speaks to us?

• He uses His Word to talk to us. 

4- It teaches timeless wisdom for life? 

• No matter what you are going through, God’s Word can speak to it. 
• That doesn’t mean it speaks to specifics. It teaches principles. 
• Should I have an affair with that person?

5- It teaches us how to be free. 

6- It builds our faith.
