Aside from how traumatic it was, find us a better character history than Wolverine's. Going even further back in time, this episode takes us back to World War II where Logan pairs up with Captain America to take on the Red Skull. Based off an issue of Uncanny X-Men that JC actually owns, this episode is one of the standouts of the final season.
