I want us to take some time seeing how God defines reality. And in the book of Hebrews, we get a chance to do just that. The opening of Hebrews focuses on seven attributes listed about Christ. Seven entries on His resume. And we’ve looked at the first three: He was appointed heir of all things, which means that not only will the Father one day turn it all over to the Son, but also that the Son can deliver on His promises. Secondly, He made the universe.  He created it all. Out of nothing (ex-nihilo). And finally, we looked at the fact that He is the radiance of God’s glory. The moral beauty of the Father. Now we continue this list with number four—where the idea that Jesus is the exact representation of God’s being.
