Episode Details

The Desert Scene welcomes back Michael Shaw, Artistic Director of Dezart Performs, who gives us details about their current production, The Garbologists. The new comedy-drama by Lindsay Joelle is described as an "unconventional buddy comedy." It follows two sanitation workers - an African-American woman from a privileged background and a white "mansplainer" as they work several shifts picking up garbage. The play honors our essential workers, and highlights how we can find common ground in uncommon times. For tickets, go to www.dezartperforms.org
