What might Jesus have meant with reference to  being persecuted for righteousness sake?  Does righteousness refer to the outer actions of an individual? Does persecution always come from one person toward another or is it possible to come from within us? Was Jesus promising  a piece real estate to anyone being persecuted or did the promise have to do with an inner state of heaven being realized by the individual?
