Gordon Chang and Tony Shaffer say the world is dividing into camps, China and Russia forming an arc of power in alliance with North Korea, Pakistan, Iran and Algeria. Gordon says the future of the world is being written in Ukraine or at least the future for the next several decades. If we win, China and its proxies slink back into the shadows. If Russia wins, China will see that as a green light on Taiwan, the Philippines, Japan, India and the United States. Tony says economic winds of fate have pushed China and Russia into a marriage of convenience. Ultimately China will see Russia as a weak partner, and China will move ahead with their ultimate belief that they are the chosen people to rule the planet. What we are witnessing is a collapse of the established international order.
