Knicks take a terrible loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the series is now tied 1-1. The game started off good for the Knicks with Jalen Brunson making a majority of the points for the Knicks and it seemed like this game was swinging towards the Knicks favor. As mentioned in many of their press conferences, the Cavs wanted to be more physical with the Knicks and they did just that. Cavs outrebounded the Knicks and scored more points in the paint which is a product of their physicality and grit for Game 2. Not only that, but Darius Garland went off for 32 PTS & 7 AST. The Knicks saw themselves be down by as much as 26 PTS and were looking lost and confused out there.
