Emotional Normalization and How it Helps in Trauma Recovery

Emotional Normalization and How it Helps in Trauma Recovery

Season 1 Episode 185 Published 3 years, 1 month ago
Description

Emotional normalization is the process of making sense of your emotions based on your life context, which can help alleviate emotional dysregulation. Emotions are inherently the result of a biological process, which can be more deeply understood through the neuroscience of the Polyvagal Theory.
