Melissa is also an American missionary living and serving in Cambodia. She and her husband, Matthew, have been using their God-given gifts and years of experience in anti-trafficking work in this country since 2013 and currently support the efforts of multiple anti-trafficking organizations. They help develop and strategize organizational policies, procedures, and best practices. They also mentor national Cambodian leaders and cultivate leadership skills among Cambodians who provide human services, such as residential care and mentorship for victims of trafficking or those who have otherwise been disenfranchised from society.
