The bulk of Trump supporters are also under educated, under employed, under served by their government and under the spell of religion. They are the forgotten Americans, a group of people left in the dust of progress like a Palm Pilot in an iPhone age. Imagine what it’s like from their perspective, things LOOK familiar, all the buttons are there, but somehow they just can’t seem to figure out what they all do—that’s America to a Trump supporter: it looks like America, but no matter how many times they press the button, they can’t figure how to launch the app that makes them culturally, intellectually and until now, politically relevant.
