The Global Financial Crisis (GFC) left deep scars that have yet to heal. Recent bank failures testify of this – it’s the equivalent of an 80 year old having a fall. Although we have plenty new regulations, the stay of execution’s only postponed until the next trigger comes across an itchy finger.  David Tripe, a professor of banking studies with Massey University.

David is a banking specialist with interests in property, economics (focusing on monetary policy), and corporate governance. Before joining Massey University in 1994, he worked for 17 years in New Zealand's banking sector, acquiring diverse experience, and maintains interest in banking developments.
