This is one for photographers!

I talk a lot about shooting in RAW, but what do you need to know if you've only shot JPG files?

I'll take you through a few things in this podcast:

  • How to handle the 'native' RAW file from the camera (the camera manufacturers file type).
  • What a TIFF file is and why you should use it as your image master file.
  • When to use JPG files.

I'll also briefly talk through my editing process using Photoshop.

Switching to RAW can feel like a big step if you've never used it before. However, there is a huge difference in the quality of RAW and TIFF files when compared to JPG files.

So, if you've ever taken a great photograph but have been disappointed with the quality (and resolution), switching to RAW will transform your photography.

It's time for another podcast...
