Axel started Wizest by bringing together the co-founding team around a clear vision and mission: building a solution that makes investing more approachable, collaborative and transparent.

After an early career in France and Spain as an industrial engineer working mainly in the automotive industry, Axel came to the US to get his MBA from MIT.

He then started his finance journey, serving as the head of strategy and transformation for two banks, leading areas like strategic and commercial planning, product development, marketing, operational efficiency, compliance, digital transformation and M&A. During this time managed an online bank, VirtualBank, and, before starting Wizest, launched another online bank, one from scratch, TotalDirectBank.
