My Mini Aussie, Dixie, used to suffer from severe car anxiety, which made her drool the entire car ride and throw up once she got home.  Now she enjoys riding in the car. 

Here are the 4 steps that I used to help her overcome her car sickness and anxiety.:

1. I use a car booster seat
2. Played soft music
3. Opened windows and sunroof
4. Used a very small dose of Trazodone

Here are 3 things that you can do to help eliminate anxious puppy behavior in the car:

1. Don't reinforce anxious behavior with a lot of vocalizing
2. Don't allow puppy to have zoomies in the car
3. Don't take puppy for rides until they like the car
